Comment Guidelines and Reporting

You are welcome to comment under articles. Comments are provided by Giscus, require signing in with a GitHub account, and are stored publicly on GitHub. Each language version has its own separate comments.

Please follow these rules

  • Be kind and discuss ideas, not people.
  • No harassment, discrimination, threats or hate.
  • No unlawful content, and no infringement of others’ copyright, privacy or other rights.
  • Do not publish other people’s personal information, and do not leave information in a comment that you do not want to be public.
  • No ads, spam or off-topic promotion.
  • Do not impersonate others.

Moderation

Comments appear as soon as they are posted; the Site does not pre-moderate. The Site may hide or delete comments that break these rules and may block accounts that repeatedly do so. The Site does not promise to reply to every comment.

How to report

If you see an inappropriate comment, write to legal [at] foundersjp [dot] com and include:

  • the URL and language version of the article it is under;
  • the comment text or its link on GitHub;
  • why you think it is inappropriate.

You can also report to GitHub using GitHub’s own reporting tools. Content that may be unlawful is handled first.

Deleting your own comment

You can delete your own comment directly on GitHub, or email privacy [at] foundersjp [dot] com and the Site will help.
